  • Physiotherapy & Kinesiology

    Anna Hill

Anna is a fully qualified physiotherapist, having graduated from the University of the West of England with a 2:1 in 2011. Anna has been working in and around Bristol as a physiotherapist since then, both within the NHS as a Senior Physiotherapist as well as within her private practice.
She completed her Kinesiology Advanced Practitioner Training course with Essence Health Training in Bristol and in May 2017 graduated as a fully qualified Systematic Kinesiologist. Kinesiology is the fastest growing alternative therapy due to its truly holistic nature.

Anna's kinesiology training completely transformed the way Anna views and treats any physical symptoms her patients present with, finding all treatments to be far more effective now working from a deep understanding of the intrinsic way our minds and bodies are linked. Kinesiology draws on the philosophy of Ancient Chinese Medicine, understanding that true health stems from the balance between our physical bodies, mental and emotional balance as well as needing an ideal balance of nutrition. Within treatment sessions, Anna addresses all these areas of health to leave you with the deep feeling of inner peace, outer vitality and a greater understanding of how you can continue to improve your health and wellbeing in between sessions.

Anna is able to help clients presenting with a wide range of issues such as:

    Digestive issues / IBS
    Emotional traumas,
Menstruation pains or lack of a regular cycle,

For more lasting results, I believe it is important to get to the root of the problem, and not just treat the presenting symptoms. Aftercare advice will be given for further healing and self improvements to be made once you leave the treatment space.

I regularly attend continuing professional development courses and monthly supervision in order to further develop and hone my skills within the industry.  I believe regular massage treatments to have multiple benefits; from improving and maintaining good posture, the rehabilitation of muscoskeletal injuries, improving breathing patterns, to reducing levels of stress and anxiety.

I am an insured and registered practioner with the Massage Training Institute and have years of experience working in varies settings such as osteopath and physiotherapy clinics, office spaces and festivals.
